Culturelles et Citoyennes, Samba R\u00e9sille souhaite \u00e9toffer son panel d\u2019outils de mobilit\u00e9s. \u00c0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 des projets d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s dans le cadre du programme Erasmus+, l\u2019association a investi le champ du SVE (Service Volontaire Europ\u00e9en). Dans le cadre de ce programme remplac\u00e9 en 2019 par les CES (Corps Europ\u00e9en de Solidarit\u00e9), l\u2019association a particip\u00e9 en tant que structure d&rsquo;envoi \u00e0 la mobilit\u00e9 d\u2019un jeune Toulousain, Corto BUSCAGLIA.<\/b><\/p><p>Corto, touch\u00e9 par une d\u00e9ficience visuelle, souhaitait entreprendre un SVE en Belgique \u00e0 l\u2019<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.irhovsecondaire.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IRHOV<\/a><\/strong> (Institut Royal des Handicap\u00e9s de la Vue et de l\u2019Ou\u00efe) lui permettant de d\u00e9velopper des comp\u00e9tences en animation sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e et en informatique adapt\u00e9e. L&rsquo;IRHOV \u00e9tant la structure d\u2019accueil, Samba R\u00e9sille a donc jou\u00e9 le r\u00f4le de structure d\u2019envoi, tandis que l\u2019organisation <a href=\"http:\/\/www.viewsinternational.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wplink-edit=\"true\">Views International <\/a>coordonnait la mobilit\u00e9.<\/p><p>Nous sommes donc partis \u00e0 Li\u00e8ge effectuer une visite d\u2019observation avec Corto afin de s\u2019assurer que les conditions d\u2019accueil allaient lui convenir et finaliser les d\u00e9marches administratives. Corto a effectu\u00e9 un stage de huit mois en Belgique, qu\u2019il a trouv\u00e9 extr\u00eamement enrichissant. Il a trouv\u00e9 l\u00e0-bas l\u2019opportunit\u00e9 de poursuivre une formation pour devenir instituteur sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 et projette de s\u2019y installer pour une longue dur\u00e9e.<\/p><p>Les b\u00e9n\u00e9fices sont donc importants pour Corto, confirmant les t\u00e9moignages selon lesquels les mobilit\u00e9s de longue dur\u00e9e (Erasmus+, SVE) ont souvent un impact majeur sur le projet de vie des personnes. Les b\u00e9n\u00e9fices sont importants pour Samba R\u00e9sille \u00e9galement, qui a scell\u00e9 un partenariat de confiance avec Views International et l\u2019IRHOV. Un nouveau projet de mobilit\u00e9 est en cours d\u2019\u00e9laboration, cette fois-ci avec l\u2019IJA (Institut des Jeunes Aveugles) de Toulouse. Il permettra \u00e0 une \u00e9quipe d\u2019\u00e9ducateurs et de jeunes d\u2019effectuer un stage d\u2019observation d\u2019une semaine \u00e0 l\u2019IRHOV, pr\u00e9lude \u00e0 de potentiels envois de plus longue dur\u00e9e.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-3321\"><div class=\"content clear-block\"><p class=\" translation-block\">Hello everyone !<br>\n\nI am Corto BUSCAGLIA, a 29-year-old visually impaired Frenchman.\nI have suffered from the condition Retinitis Pigmentosa, a genetic disease that causes a progressive loss of Vision, since the age of six. To date, although significant progress has been made in the field, no treatment is possible to cure the disease.\n\nHowever, I attended a rehabilitation course for people with low vision in a specialized centre which allowed me to master the techniques of using the white cane, Braille, and adapted technology. It is thanks to learning these skills that I am able to live independently, that I have obtained a joint degree in history and geography and that I was able to complete a civic service in a small association working for the visually impaired.\n<br>\n\nIt was my civic service experience which inspired me to apply to the European Voluntary Service programme in Belgium, and that is how I came to be working for the Royal Institute for the Hearing and Vision Impaired, a partner of VIEWS International, based in Liege.\n<br>\n\nMy role in the school is to teach visually impaired or blind students Skills to overcome their visual impairment and help them become independent. I work with elementary students (aged 6 to 10) and students from secondary school (aged 14 to 21).\n<br>\n\nIn general, I work one-to-one with students but sometimes I also work with groups, for example in my Monday morning Braille class I have five students. In this class students use the Perkins, a Braille typewriter, to learn and memorise Braille characters, and the more advanced students read Braille books to improve their accuracy and speed.\n\nIn individual sessions, we learn to correctly use the white cane, both indoors and outside, and sometimes under blindfold. They learn to safely climb and descend the stairs, how to follow a tactile path, how to sweep the cane correctly so as to protect themselves and how to imagine the space around them.\n<br>\n\nThey also use adapted technology by memorizing the positions of the keys on a computer keyboard and using keyboard shortcuts to interact with web pages or different software.\n\nAll these skills require long, meticulous learning, but they are necessary for their social integration and their professional futures.\n<br>\n\nI also organize small cultural workshops that can include preparing together a regional dish from my native Toulouse or presenting to them a tactile map of France. This is possible thanks to my colleagues who bring me valuable help and advice.\n\nI hope that these activities are enriching for them and their futures. As for me, I bring them my life experience and my experience of living with a visual impairment.\n<br>\n\nThe students are truly fantastic; they are great listeners and work hard to overcome their difficulties. The partners within this application are producers of large-scale carnival\/festival events within their own national contexts. Accueil de Daniele &#8211; De f\u00e9vrier \u00e0 septembre 2024 Sarzana, Italie par CICCE Samba R\u00e9sille Envoi de Corto \u00e0 Li\u00e8ge (Belgique) \u00a0En tant que futur CICCE, Centre d&rsquo;Initiatives Culturelles et Citoyennes, Samba R\u00e9sille souhaite \u00e9toffer son panel d\u2019outils de mobilit\u00e9s. \u00c0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 des projets d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s dans le cadre du programme Erasmus+, l\u2019association a investi le champ du SVE (Service Volontaire Europ\u00e9en). Dans le cadre de ce programme remplac\u00e9 en 2019 par les CES (Corps Europ\u00e9en de Solidarit\u00e9), l\u2019association a particip\u00e9 en tant que structure d&rsquo;envoi \u00e0 la mobilit\u00e9 d\u2019un jeune Toulousain, Corto BUSCAGLIA. Corto, touch\u00e9 par une d\u00e9ficience visuelle, souhaitait entreprendre un SVE en Belgique \u00e0 l\u2019IRHOV (Institut Royal des Handicap\u00e9s de la Vue et de l\u2019Ou\u00efe) lui permettant de d\u00e9velopper des comp\u00e9tences en animation sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e et en informatique adapt\u00e9e. L&rsquo;IRHOV \u00e9tant la structure d\u2019accueil, Samba R\u00e9sille a donc jou\u00e9 le r\u00f4le de structure d\u2019envoi, tandis que l\u2019organisation Views International coordonnait la mobilit\u00e9. Nous sommes donc partis \u00e0 Li\u00e8ge effectuer une visite d\u2019observation avec Corto afin de s\u2019assurer que les conditions d\u2019accueil allaient lui convenir et finaliser les d\u00e9marches administratives. Corto a effectu\u00e9 un stage de huit mois en Belgique, qu\u2019il a trouv\u00e9 extr\u00eamement enrichissant. Il a trouv\u00e9 l\u00e0-bas l\u2019opportunit\u00e9 de poursuivre une formation pour devenir instituteur sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 et projette de s\u2019y installer pour une longue dur\u00e9e. Les b\u00e9n\u00e9fices sont donc importants pour Corto, confirmant les t\u00e9moignages selon lesquels les mobilit\u00e9s de longue dur\u00e9e (Erasmus+, SVE) ont souvent un impact majeur sur le projet de vie des personnes. Les b\u00e9n\u00e9fices sont importants pour Samba R\u00e9sille \u00e9galement, qui a scell\u00e9 un partenariat de confiance avec Views International et l\u2019IRHOV. Un nouveau projet de mobilit\u00e9 est en cours d\u2019\u00e9laboration, cette fois-ci avec l\u2019IJA (Institut des Jeunes Aveugles) de Toulouse. Il permettra \u00e0 une \u00e9quipe d\u2019\u00e9ducateurs et de jeunes d\u2019effectuer un stage d\u2019observation d\u2019une semaine \u00e0 l\u2019IRHOV, pr\u00e9lude \u00e0 de potentiels envois de plus longue dur\u00e9e. T\u00e9moignage T\u00e9moignage de Corto BUSCAGLIA Bonjour tout le monde ! Je suis Corto Biscaglia, un Fran\u00e7ais de 29 ans ayant une d\u00e9ficience visuelle. J\u2019ai souffert de la maladie de la r\u00e9tinite pigmentaire, une maladie g\u00e9n\u00e9tique qui provoque une perte progressive de la vision, depuis l\u2019\u00e2ge de six ans. \u00c0 ce jour, bien que des progr\u00e8s significatifs aient \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9s sur le terrain, aucun traitement n\u2019est possible pour gu\u00e9rir la maladie. Cependant, j\u2019ai suivi un cours de r\u00e9adaptation pour les personnes ayant une basse vision dans un centre sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 qui m\u2019a permis de ma\u00eetriser les techniques d\u2019utilisation de la canne blanche, du braille et des technologies adapt\u00e9es. C\u2019est gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ces comp\u00e9tences que je peux vivre de fa\u00e7on autonome, que j\u2019ai obtenu un dipl\u00f4me conjoint en histoire et en g\u00e9ographie et que j\u2019ai pu terminer un service civique dans une petite association qui travaille pour les personnes ayant une d\u00e9ficience visuelle. C\u2019est mon exp\u00e9rience de service civique qui m\u2019a inspir\u00e9 \u00e0 postuler au programme du Service volontaire europ\u00e9en en Belgique, et c\u2019est ainsi que j\u2019en suis venu \u00e0 travailler pour l\u2019Institut royal pour les malentendants et les malvoyants, partenaire de VIEWS International, bas\u00e9 \u00e0 Li\u00e8ge. Mon r\u00f4le \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole est d\u2019enseigner aux \u00e9l\u00e8ves malvoyants ou aveugles des techniques pour surmonter leur d\u00e9ficience visuelle et les aider \u00e0 devenir autonomes. Je travaille avec des \u00e9l\u00e8ves du primaire (\u00e2g\u00e9s de 6 \u00e0 10 ans) et des \u00e9l\u00e8ves du secondaire (\u00e2g\u00e9s de 14 \u00e0 21 ans). En g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, je travaille en t\u00eate-\u00e0-t\u00eate avec les \u00e9tudiants, mais parfois je travaille aussi avec des groupes, par exemple dans mon cours de braille du lundi matin, j\u2019ai cinq \u00e9tudiants. Dans cette classe, les \u00e9l\u00e8ves utilisent le Perkins, une machine \u00e0 \u00e9crire en braille, pour apprendre et m\u00e9moriser des caract\u00e8res en braille, et les \u00e9l\u00e8ves plus avanc\u00e9s lisent des livres en braille pour am\u00e9liorer leur pr\u00e9cision et leur vitesse. Dans les sessions individuelles, nous apprenons \u00e0 utiliser correctement la canne blanche, \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur et \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur, et parfois sous le bandeau. Ils apprennent \u00e0 monter et descendre les escaliers en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9, \u00e0 suivre un chemin tactile, \u00e0 balayer correctement la canne pour se prot\u00e9ger et \u00e0 imaginer l\u2019espace qui les entoure. Ils utilisent \u00e9galement une technologie adapt\u00e9e en m\u00e9morisant les positions des touches sur un clavier d\u2019ordinateur et en utilisant des raccourcis clavier pour interagir avec des pages Web ou diff\u00e9rents logiciels. Toutes ces comp\u00e9tences exigent un apprentissage long et m\u00e9ticuleux, mais elles sont n\u00e9cessaires pour leur int\u00e9gration sociale et leur avenir professionnel. J\u2019organise aussi de petits ateliers culturels qui peuvent inclure la pr\u00e9paration d\u2019un plat r\u00e9gional de mon Toulouse natal ou la pr\u00e9sentation d\u2019une carte tactile de la France. C\u2019est possible gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 mes coll\u00e8gues qui m\u2019apportent une aide et des conseils pr\u00e9cieux. Je souhaite que ces activit\u00e9s soient enrichissantes pour eux et pour leur avenir. Quant \u00e0 moi, je leur apporte mon exp\u00e9rience de vie et mon exp\u00e9rience de vivre avec une d\u00e9ficience visuelle. Les \u00e9tudiants sont vraiment fantastiques ; ils sont de grands auditeurs et travaillent fort pour surmonter leurs difficult\u00e9s. Tout ce dont ils ont besoin, ce sont les moyens de r\u00e9ussir et la chance de r\u00e9aliser leurs r\u00eaves.
