Across Europe the arts and cultural industries are attractive to many young people who commit themselves for their leisure or for job opportunities. Yet, the current European context sees an increase in youth unemployment (more than 50% in some countries) and where the cultural sector has a image problem in its capacity to give \u201ca real work\u201d to the young people.\n\nThe organizations committed in this youth exchange project, all from the artistic and cultural sector, wish to lead an experiment around a exchange project for young people from 5 countries: France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Netherlands and Portugal, particularly in direction of groups of young people in a disadvantaged situation but whose artistic commitment proves that they are in a positive approach in the construction of their practice, their project and their future as an adult.\n\nThis project is a cooperative alliance between experimented structures which wish to meet the challenge to strengthen the skills of these young people and the youth workers who accompany them, to create the best conditions for the delivery of non-formal training, for peer led collaborative teaching, and for the creation of new cooperations that will create new actions and job opportunities at the European and international level.\n\nThe project is divided in periods of artistic and technical workshops, public performances, visits of companies, cultural industries, meetings with professionals of the cultural and arts sector, the sessions of coaching and capacity building, through informal and peer led learning teaching techniques, to allow the young people, particularly the disadvantaged youth, to feel legitimate to live an intercultural experience at an European level and to strengthen their confidence and Brouhaha International (BI) is a registered Charity (no. 1017409) and non-governmental arts organization that delivers in local, national and international contexts. BI\u2019s work covers youth arts engagement, international exchanges, meetings, trainings and capacity building initiatives for young people and workers at a national and international level. The organizations main aim is to support young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in their social, cultural, personal and professional development. The main aim of Kalentura is to develop the young people\u2019s life skills and creative abilities through music and mobility actions as well as informing and educating young people about the cultural heritage of Dutch African Caribbean community.\n\nKalentura has two groups of young people (14-17 years and 18- 25 years of age) both of these groups take part in ongoing workshops and create ensemble activities. Kalentura enables young people to have positive perceptions of themselves as \u2018Black Europeans\u2019.\n\nRelevant activities and experience: KalentuRa have participated in international meetings\/trainings (4.3) and exchanges (1.1) within the previous youth programme. They are also a key player in the development of large-scale festival events across Amsterdam within BME and minority communities. KalentuRa develop and deliver an annual programme of  music development opportunities for youth people, including weekly workshops and performances.\n\nKalentura is currently working with Brouhaha International as one of the partners within an Key Action 2 Capacity Building in the Field of Youth project. Enjoy is today known for its expertise to put in place innovative teachings using the Commedia Dell Arte\u2019s technics to promote creative learnings.<\/p><p>Enjoy uses a theatre to organize its educational and teaching activities, lent by the city hall of Torino. It is aimed at people who experience difficulties on a daily basis, both socially, economically and personally. For this, it organizes workshops focused on musical practice that combines people's cultural heritage and musical research.<\/p><p>Bombrando has two groups of young people (14 -17 years and 18 \u2013 25 years of age) both of these groups take part in ongoing workshops and create musical ensemble percussion activities. Bombrando enables young people to have positive perceptions of themselves through undertaking local and international projects.<\/p><p>Bombrando relies on many people, very often professionals in specialized education and\/or animation, but also \"smugglers\", who are former learners who invest themselves for others, thus allowing the setting up non-formal training in a \u201ccircular\u201d form. Bombrando is a partner met in 2016 during European mobility in sessions between peers;\n\u2013 networking sessions;\n\u2013 the construction and the presentation of the workshops\u2019 results through a performance;\n\u2013 the development of multimedia products;\n\u2013 research, documentation and evaluation;\n\u2013 the development of follow-up collaborations and the reflection on new cooperative projects.<\/p><p>This exchange project is a project of intercultural immersion where the methods, the tools and practices which are implemented there, are an experiment to create a support plan for the youth in the creative sector and a rehabilitation of the image of the artistic and cultural sector, a sector which attracts numerous young people but which has to organize itself to facilitate their job integration and demonstrate its unexpected capability to be a major player on the economic Or, le contexte europ\u00e9en actuel voit une hausse du ch\u00f4mage des jeunes o\u00f9 il repr\u00e9sente dans certains pays plus de 50 % et o\u00f9 le secteur culturel souffre d&rsquo;un d\u00e9ficit d&rsquo;image sur sa capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 donner \u00ab un vrai travail\u00a0\u00bb aux jeunes. C&rsquo;est ainsi que les organisations engag\u00e9es dans ce projet d&rsquo;\u00e9changes, toutes issues du secteur artistique et culturel, souhaitent mener une exp\u00e9rimentation autour d&rsquo;un projet d&rsquo;\u00e9changes de jeunes issus de cinq pays : la France, le Royaume-Uni, l&rsquo;Italie, les Pays-Bas et le Portugal, pour relever des d\u00e9fis multiples en s&rsquo;adressant \u00e0 des groupes de jeunes, dont une majorit\u00e9 sont dans une situation de vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9, mais dont l&rsquo;engagement artistique atteste qu&rsquo;ils sont bien dans une d\u00e9marche de construction de leur pratique, de leur projet et de leur devenir d&rsquo;adulte. Ce projet est donc une alliance coop\u00e9rative entre des structures exp\u00e9riment\u00e9es qui souhaitent relever le d\u00e9fi de renforcer les comp\u00e9tences des jeunes et des travailleurs jeunesse qui les accompagnent, de cr\u00e9er les conditions pour que soient d\u00e9livr\u00e9es des formations non formelles, que puissent se d\u00e9rouler des apprentissages entre pairs et que naissent des coop\u00e9rations nouvelles qui permettent de cr\u00e9er des opportunit\u00e9s d&#8217;emploi et d&rsquo;actions \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelon europ\u00e9en et international. Il s&rsquo;agit donc de temps d&rsquo;ateliers artistiques et techniques, de repr\u00e9sentations en public, de visites d\u2019entreprises et industries culturelles, de rencontres avec des professionnels du secteur, des sessions de coaching et de renforcement de ses capacit\u00e9s, qui puisent dans les m\u00e9thodologies d&rsquo;apprentissage informels et entre pairs, pour permettre aux jeunes, notamment les plus vuln\u00e9rables, de se sentir l\u00e9gitimes de vivre une exp\u00e9rience interculturelle \u00e0 un \u00e9chelon europ\u00e9en et de renforcer leur confiance et estime de soi. Par ces travaux coop\u00e9ratifs, le projet d&rsquo;\u00e9changes doit permettre aux organisations partenaires de poursuivre leurs travaux sur les questions de certification des jeunes artistes et op\u00e9rateurs culturels \u00e9mergents, en se penchant sur les possibles harmonisations \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelon europ\u00e9en. Kalentura \u2013 Pays-Bas Kalentura est une organisation d\u00e9di\u00e9e aux jeunes et \u00e0 la musique, qui travaille avec des jeunes issus de minorit\u00e9s (d\u2019origine africaine ou de la r\u00e9gion des Cara\u00efbes) qui vivent des difficult\u00e9s au quotidien. Le principal objectif de Kalentura est de d\u00e9velopper les comp\u00e9tences et les capacit\u00e9s cr\u00e9atives des jeunes \u00e0 travers la musique et les mobilit\u00e9s europ\u00e9ennes, ainsi que d\u2019informer et d\u2019\u00e9duquer les jeunes \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00e9ritage culturel de leur communaut\u00e9 n\u00e9erlando-africaine et des Cara\u00efbes. Kalentura a deux groupes de jeunes (14-17 ans et 18-25 ans), qui prennent part aux ateliers et cr\u00e9ent des activit\u00e9s de groupe.
